Homebridge, a widely used software solution for integrating non-HomeKit devices such as Ring cameras into Apple Home, has officially launched Homebridge 2.0 on May 4.
The update introduces initial support for the Matter smart home standard, enabling Homebridge to function as both a HomeKit bridge and a Matter bridge. This allows Matter-compatible devices to appear directly in Apple Home through Homebridge.
