Lego has unveiled four new model kits as part of its Speed Champions range, featuring iconic vehicles from racing and pop culture. Among them is a brick-built recreation of Ken Block’s 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn, which appeared in Gymkhana Seven (2014). The kit retails for $29.99 and includes gold wheels, oversized velocity stacks, and a Ken Block minifigure complete with a Hoonigan cap, jacket, and helmet.
The lineup also features an orange Toyota Supra Mk4 from The Fast and The Furious, adorned with Troy Lee Nuclear Gladiator graphics and a Brian O’Conner minifigure. Pre-orders are open at $29.99.
A third addition is the Ferrari 499P, the three-time Le Mans-winning hypercar (2023–2025), priced at $29.99. The model boasts Michelin tires, authentic sponsor decals, and a load-bearing engine design. It includes a generic red-suited driver rather than a specific Le Mans pilot.
For advanced builders, Lego Technic offers a Ferrari 488 Pista kit with 882 pieces, a working differential, and a length of 11 inches. This model is available for $64.99.
Could the Renault 5 Turbo 3E Become an Official Lego Set?
A fan-built Renault 5 Turbo 3E is gaining traction on Lego Ideas, needing 10,000 supporters to become an official product. Created by U.K.-based engineer Dave Collins using approximately 1,200 pieces, the design celebrates the iconic 1980s rally car with a modern electric twist.
“Angular cars are easier to do in Lego, so the R5 was a natural choice. Plus it looks great, and it’s immediately recognisable as an update of the eighties classic. If they actually made a set, I think that would be great for Lego Renault and for me. The car is iconic with people who grew up in the eighties, and the look and power of the electric R5 appeal to all ages now, so I truly believe it would be a success.” — Dave Collins
As of now, Collins has secured over 7,000 supporters. Fans can show their support on the Lego Ideas page to help turn this replica into an official release.
