Earlier this year, reports surfaced that Microsoft was developing a new Xbox controller designed to connect directly to Xbox Cloud Gaming servers via Wi-Fi. Now, leaked images from Brazil’s Anatel regulator appear to confirm the controller’s existence.
Tecnoblog published the images, showcasing a smaller, redesigned Xbox controller that bears a resemblance to third-party alternatives from brands like 8BitDo and HyperX.
The leaked controller includes the following key features:
- Dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity (2.4GHz and 5GHz)
- Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless pairing
- USB-C port for wired connections
- Pairing button located at the top
- Standard controls: D-Pad, bumpers, and triggers
These specifications suggest a streamlined design optimized for cloud gaming performance and compatibility.
