Imagineer has officially launched a public demo of Medabots Card Robattle RB on the Japanese Nintendo eShop. Players with a Japanese Nintendo Account can now experience a preview of the upcoming card battle game before its full release scheduled for June 25, 2026.
The game features the iconic Medabots and key characters from the franchise, offering a strategic card-based battle experience. Upon full release, Medabots Card Robattle RB will be available in two distinct versions:
- Kabuto (Beetle / Metabee) edition
- Kuwagata (Stag Beetle / Rokusho) edition
The newly released demo is specifically based on the Kuwagata version. However, it includes support for save data transfer to the Kabuto version once the full game launches.
Digital pre-orders for the full game have also opened on the Japanese Nintendo eShop. Each version will be priced at ¥5,478 (~$34.69). Notably, the game will be available exclusively in Japanese at launch.
While Imagineer has resolved legal barriers in Europe for new Medabots entries, international localizations are being rolled out gradually. The first globally released title in the franchise is Medabots Survivors, which launched on Android and iOS worldwide on February 25, 2026. This followed its initial release in Japan in February 2025.
The full versions of Medabots Card Robattle RB will be playable on the Nintendo Switch in Japan starting June 25, 2026. The game will also be compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2 through backward compatibility.
