The New Orleans Saints are making roster changes following the 2026 NFL Draft. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the team will release wide receiver Samori Toure.
Toure, who turns 28 this year, joined the Saints’ practice squad in November 2025. He appeared in the team’s season-ending loss to the Atlanta Falcons and remained with the club on a futures contract.
A seventh-round selection by the Green Bay Packers in 2022, Toure has played in 23 career games, including two starts. Over that span, he recorded 14 receptions for 163 yards and one touchdown.
The Saints recently bolstered their receiving corps by drafting three players in the 2026 draft:
- Jordyn Tyson (No. 8 overall)
- Bryce Lance (No. 136 overall)
- Barion Brown (No. 190 overall)
Toure’s release reflects the team’s roster adjustments as they integrate new talent.
