Season 3 of Zenless Zone Zero Unveils Two New Playable Characters: Norma and Velina

HoYoVerse has officially announced the first two playable characters for Season 3 of Zenless Zone Zero: Norma Hollowell and Velina Airgid.

Both characters are members of the Roscaelifer External Strategy Department, a new faction introduced in version 3.0 of the game. While HoYoVerse has not confirmed their ranks, evidence suggests they are both S-rank Agents.

Roles and Abilities

Velina Airgid holds a higher-ranking position as the administrative director within the department. Her role aligns with an Anomaly-type unit, and she is the first wind-type character introduced in the game.

Norma Hollowell, distinguished by her familiar-looking hat, specializes in building Bangboo. Her combat role is a Stun unit, and she deals fire damage when attacking.

HoYoVerse has released official artwork and YouTube Shorts showcasing both characters. The visuals highlight Norma’s fire-based abilities and Velina’s wind-type attributes.

Season 3 Playable Characters

The introduction of Norma and Velina brings the total confirmed playable characters for Season 3 to three, following the earlier reveal of Pyrois, the playable Proxy avatar for the Phaethon faction. Pyrois is an Etheric Other entity that will fight alongside characters like Belle or Wise in battles.

Game Availability and Updates

Zenless Zone Zero is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. The Steam version is also in development. The next major update, version 2.8, is scheduled to launch on May 6, 2026.
