Wide receiver Michael Woods has earned another shot in the NFL after a standout performance at the Denver Broncos' rookie minicamp. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, the Broncos will sign Woods to their 90-man roster.

Woods participated in the team's rookie minicamp over the weekend as a tryout player. The Browns selected him in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he played in 10 games, recording 12 receptions for 110 yards. However, he missed the whole 2023 season after suffering a torn Achilles.

In 2024, Woods returned for five games before being released by the Browns. He then spent time on the Packers' practice squad. His career totals with Cleveland include 12 catches for 110 yards across 15 games.

The Broncos currently have several veteran wide receivers on the roster, including Courtland Sutton, Jaylen Waddle, Marvin Mims, Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant, and Lil'Jordan Humphrey.
