The San Francisco 49ers have finalized agreements with eight undrafted rookie free agents, expanding their roster ahead of the 2025 season.
The group includes punter Jack Bouwmeester, who brings experience from Utah and Texas. Bouwmeester, who grew up in Australia, averaged 44.5 yards per kick during his collegiate career. He joins Corliss Waitman as punter options for the team.
The 49ers also signed Wesley Grimes, a wide receiver from North Carolina State, and Will Pauling, a wideout from Notre Dame. With De'Zhaun Stribling already selected in the draft, the team will have three rookie receivers participating in practice sessions in the coming weeks.
Additional additions to the roster include:

- Bryson Eason (defensive lineman, Tennessee)
- Mikail Kamara (defensive lineman, Indiana)
- Jalen Stroman (safety, Notre Dame)
- James Thompson (defensive lineman, Illinois)
