Amazon has officially launched its 30-minute delivery service, Amazon Now, to millions of shoppers across the United States. The ultrafast service provides deliveries of groceries, medicines, electronics, and other essentials in under an hour.
Following a limited test phase in parts of Seattle and Philadelphia that began in December 2023, Amazon Now is now available in four major cities: Seattle, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Dallas-Fort Worth. The company has announced plans to expand the service to seven additional cities in the coming months, including Austin, Houston, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix, Denver, and Oklahoma City.
The service currently covers thousands of eligible items, such as fresh milk, produce, over-the-counter medicines, household essentials like laundry detergent, and small electronics. Amazon has not yet disclosed a full list of participating cities or the complete range of available products.
