Apple is reportedly working on a new Organize Tabs feature for Safari, which could automatically group tabs into categories in the next major software update, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
The feature, if implemented, would aim to enhance user experience by reducing clutter and improving tab management. Gurman did not specify the exact software version or release date, but the update is expected to follow Apple’s typical annual release cycle.
This move aligns with Apple’s ongoing efforts to refine Safari’s functionality, particularly as users increasingly rely on the browser for multitasking and productivity. The feature could also integrate with existing tab management tools, such as Tab Groups introduced in previous updates.
While Apple has not officially confirmed the feature, Gurman’s report suggests it could be part of a broader push to modernize Safari’s interface and usability.
