Masashi Kishimoto’s Boruto manga series will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026, with Shueisha set to launch a series of celebratory projects on June 4, 2026.

The anniversary festivities will begin with the release of an explanation video and the publication of a Story Guide book spanning approximately 600 pages. Additionally, Shueisha will debut the eighth standalone tankobon volume of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex and a colored edition of the new arc’s first volume. The company is also planning to produce the first character figure based on the latest arc.

Boruto’s Origins and Milestones

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations launched in 2016 as the direct sequel to Naruto, with Masashi Kishimoto at the helm. The series follows Boruto Uzumaki, the son of Naruto Uzumaki, as the protagonist.

A major arc update, titled Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, debuted in Japan in 2024 and in the West in 2025. As of April 2026, the latest standalone volume released in Japan was the seventh volume of Two Blue Vortex, published in February 2026.

Anniversary Date and Celebrations

The official anniversary date for the Boruto manga series is based on its first appearance in the 2016 23rd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, published by Shueisha on May 9, 2016.

The celebratory projects for the 10th anniversary will commence on June 4, 2026.
