The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are bolstering their special teams roster by agreeing to sign long snapper Scott Daly.

According to Greg Auman of FOX Sports, Daly participated in the Buccaneers' rookie minicamp over the weekend on a tryout basis. He will now compete with Evan Deckers for the opportunity to serve as Tampa Bay’s full-time long snapper.

Daly, who turns 33 in 2024, brings two seasons of NFL experience with the Chicago Bears, where he served as the team’s long snapper. Prior to his time in Chicago, Daly spent three seasons with the Detroit Lions in the same role.
