The Chicago Bears officially announced the signing of wide receiver Scotty Miller on Monday, alongside three additional roster additions. Among these, linebacker Jon Rhattigan stands out as the most experienced player, having participated in the team’s rookie minicamp as a veteran tryout over the weekend.

Rhattigan’s NFL tenure includes six tackles on special teams during 12 games with the Las Vegas Raiders last season. He also made an appearance with the Pittsburgh Steelers and was a key contributor in the kicking game for the Carolina Panthers in 2024. His career began with the Seattle Seahawks, where he spent three seasons, accumulating 50 total tackles.

In addition to Rhattigan, the Bears signed wide receiver Kyron Hudson and linebacker Wayne Matthews, both of whom went undrafted in the recent NFL Draft. The team also made a corresponding move by placing wide receiver Squirrel White on the reserve/retired list. White had joined the Bears as an undrafted free agent prior to the minicamp.
