Uniqlo’s Pokémon 30th anniversary plans extend beyond the initial March 2026 collection in Japan, with a new line of unisex shirts set to debut in the U.S. and Canada in June 2026. The latest additions include four adult designs and four kids designs, all inspired by the original Game Boy entries, such as Pokémon Red.
The new collection features greyscale sprites and will launch in Japan at the end of July 2026, with a worldwide release expected shortly after. Adult shirts are available in sizes XS through 4XL, though Japanese sizing may differ from U.S. standards—double-check before purchasing. Each adult shirt costs ¥1,990 (~$12.70).
The lineup includes:
- Pokémon Red Uniqlo shirt: Features the logo, trainer, and Charmander on the front.
- Shirts with gym badges on the sleeves and evolved Pokémon like Onix, Starmie, Raichu, Vileplume, Weezing, Alakazam, Arcanine, and Rhydon.
- Mewtwo shirt: Includes Mew on the back at the bottom.
- Pikachu pocket t-shirt: Pull down the pocket to reveal Raichu.
For kids, the shirts are designed for ages 6–7 to 14 and cost ¥990 (~$6.30) each. Sizing may also vary, so verify measurements before buying. Some designs mirror adult styles, but the Gengar, Pikachu, and Magikarp/Psyduck/Snorlax/Pikachu/Eevee/Dragonite collection are exclusive to this line. The Pikachu kids shirt stands out with Pikachu on the back and additional icons along the pocket.
