Games Done Quick (GDQ), the long-running charity video game speedrunning series, will host its first-ever European event at Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany, this summer. The marathon event will coincide with the three-day convention, running from August 28–30.

Live Event Features Top Runners and Global Livestreams

The GDQ event will welcome popular speedrunners and an on-site live audience. The programming will be broadcast globally on Twitch and YouTube, with daily sessions airing from 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET.

GDQ Expands Globally with New Partnership

"We’re thrilled to expand Games Done Quick globally and to bring a live event to gamescom in Germany, an opportunity that’s incredibly meaningful to our team. This partnership not only supports an amazing initiative, but also creates space for more runners to participate, especially those who haven’t previously had the opportunity to travel to the US."
