Genshin Impact Luna VII Special Program Reveals Snezhnaya Region Teaser
HoYoVerse continued its Snezhnaya teasing during the Genshin Impact Luna VII Special Program, unveiling a new preview teaser trailer for the next numbered update and region. The stream also highlighted upcoming additions for the May 20, 2026 patch across all platforms.
New Primogem Codes Available on May 8, 2026
Three new codes will be released on May 8, 2026, allowing players to earn Primogems:
- BacktoSumeru
- NicolaCoco
- WilltoWin
Snezhnaya Region Trailer: Frozen Tundra Shrouded in Wind and Snow
The trailer, titled "Frozen Tundra Shrouded in Wind and Snow", begins with a train traversing the region, followed by the Traveler exploring new areas and using various traversal methods. A potential new costume for the Traveler is also teased at the end.
Luna VII Update Details: New Characters, Weapons, and Events
The Luna VII update will return players to Sumeru, with Collei as a featured character. The first launch banners will include:
- A new five-star Nicole banner
- A Durin rerun banner
- Prune joining the general pool as a four-star unit
The second part of the update will introduce:
- A five-star Lohen banner
- A Mavuika rerun banner
New Weapons and Artifact Sets
Nicole’s unique weapon, the five-star Angelos’ Heptades, will be available on a banner in the first part of the update. Meanwhile, Lohen’s featured weapon, the five-star Disaster and Remorse polearm, will appear in the second half.
Two new Artifact sets will be introduced:
- Celestial Gift
- Disenchantment in Deep Shadow
Story Quests and Events
While Nicole will not receive her own Story Quest yet, Lohen’s Lepus Miles Chapter: Act 1 will be available. Prune will be featured in a Phantasmal Pals event during this version. Additional events include:
- Trials of the Brave Warrior
- Kaleidoscopic Color Chase
Release Timeline and Platforms
Genshin Impact is available on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. The Luna VII update will launch on May 20, 2026, with the Snezhnaya region arriving later in 2026.
