GoPro has introduced its latest additions to the Mission camera lineup, the Mission 1 and Mission 1 Pro, with pricing set at $599.99 and $699.99, respectively. These prices are reduced by $100 for subscribers to GoPro’s ecosystem.

The new cameras are designed primarily for professional filmmakers, making them less accessible to weekend athletes and casual users. Despite the high cost, GoPro is offering a $100 Point-and-Shoot Grip accessory for free with pre-orders, available while supplies last.

The Mission 1 and Mission 1 Pro can be reserved now, with an official release date of May 28. The Mission 1 Pro ILS, which features an interchangeable mount for Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lenses and adapters, will be available later in Q3 2024 at the same price of $699.99, or $599.99 for GoPro subscribers.
