Govee has expanded its lineup of smart lighting solutions, introducing everything from rechargeable table lamps to Matter-compatible ceiling lights capable of displaying custom images with retro, pixelated flair. In April, the company unveiled its Outdoor Solar String Lights, a 34-foot set designed for outdoor illumination.
These solar-powered string lights are now available at a discounted price of $79.99 at Amazon, thanks to an on-page coupon. The original price was $99.99.
Where to Buy Govee Outdoor Solar String Lights

- Govee: $99.99 → $89.99
- Lowe’s: $99.99 → $89.99
Key Features and Specifications
The Govee Outdoor Solar String Lights are powered by a 6W solar panel and include a 4,800mAh battery, which requires a full day of sunlight to reach full charge. While the lights can be charged via USB-C, they are designed to operate primarily on solar power. Once fully charged, the lights can run for up to 13 hours at reduced brightness.
Each of the eight all-weather, IP67-rated LED bulbs delivers a maximum brightness of 50 lumens. However, Govee’s runtime estimates assume the lights are set to 10 lumens to maximize battery life. Higher brightness settings will reduce the overall runtime.
Like many of Govee’s smart bulbs, these string lights offer a wide range of lighting options, including warm white light and 16 million different hues. Users can control the lights via the Govee mobile app, which is available for both Android and iOS.
Smart App Controls and Customization
Through the Govee app, users can access 100 preset lighting scenes, schedule the lights to turn on or off at specific times, and adjust brightness levels. One standout feature is the ability to set the lights to dynamically react to music playing in the background. While this feature may seem like a novelty to some, it adds a fun, interactive element to the lighting experience.
"I’ve always found the latter feature to be somewhat gimmicky party trick, but hey, to each their own, right?"
Beyond the Govee solar string lights, there are other deals worth considering this week:
