The Green Bay Packers made two key additions to their 90-man roster on Tuesday, claiming cornerback M.J. Devonshire and tight end Luke Lachey off waivers, according to the NFL’s daily transaction report.

Packers Claim M.J. Devonshire After Bills Waive Him

Devonshire was waived by the Buffalo Bills earlier this week. The cornerback was originally selected in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite his draft status, Devonshire has yet to appear in a regular season game, having also spent time with the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens without playing.

Luke Lachey Joins Packers After Texans Release

Lachey, a seventh-round pick by the Houston Texans in the 2023 NFL Draft, spent the entirety of the 2023 season on the Texans’ practice squad. He was waived by Houston on Monday when the team added running back Evan Hull to the roster.
