The Green Bay Packers have officially finalized their 2026 draft class after second-round cornerback Brandon Cisse signed his four-year rookie contract on Thursday. With this signing, the Packers now have all six of their 2026 draft picks under contract.
Selected in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, Cisse joins the Packers after a standout collegiate career at South Carolina. During his final season with the Gamecocks, he recorded 27 tackles, 1 interception, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 1 forced fumble. Prior to his time at South Carolina, Cisse spent two years at N.C. State, where he began his college football journey.
In addition to Cisse’s signing, the Packers also confirmed the previously reported waiver claim of wide receiver Brenden Rice. The team made roster space for Rice by waiving tight end Luke Lachey, who was designated with a failed physical. The Packers had claimed Lachey on waivers earlier in the week.
