From Compact to Customizable: Insta360’s Mic Evolution

In June, Insta360 introduced its first wireless microphone kit, featuring small, lightweight mics comparable in size to Apple’s AirTag. These were designed for discreet wear. The new Mic Pro, however, shifts focus to visibility and personalization, aligning with the company’s broader strategy for its audio accessories.

The new Insta360 Mic Pro, which the company is teasing during the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas, is instead designed to be prominently displayed. On the front of each transmitter is a round E Ink color screen that can be customized with photos, logos, branding, or custom artwork.
