KFC Japan has teased a new Genshin Impact crossover event, confirming that Alhaitham and Kaveh will be the featured characters in the upcoming collaboration. As of now, no official date has been announced for the event.

The silhouettes shared by KFC Japan strongly suggest that the two Sumeru units will be prominently showcased, particularly since their poses resemble those from the 2025 Chinese event. Past collaborations between KFC and Genshin Impact have included new artwork, official merchandise, and in-game items such as recipes and glider skins.

Teaser Art and Character Identification

The KFC Japan social media account shared a teaser image featuring the silhouettes of Alhaitham and Kaveh. Their identities are most easily recognizable by their distinctive hairstyles: Alhaitham’s two strands of hair at the top of his head and Kaveh’s feather on the left side of his head. For comparison, the teaser image includes the official character art from HoYoVerse on either side. Additionally, the 2025 Chinese event artwork, previously shared by HoYoVerse and KFC on BiliBili, is included for reference.

Past KFC Genshin Impact Events in Asia

This is not the first time KFC has partnered with Genshin Impact in Asia. Prior collaborations have included:

  • First Event (China): Featured Diluc and Noel. In-game rewards included the Wings of Feasting glider skin and recipes for KFC-inspired dishes such as Golden Chicken Burger, Golden Fried Chicken, and Fragrant Mashed Potatoes.
  • Second Event (China): Featured Lyney and Lynette.
  • Third Event (China): Featured Alhaitham and Kaveh.

So far, KFC has not held a Genshin Impact-themed event in North America. However, limited in-game items from these crossovers have occasionally appeared through promotions on platforms like Twitch and Razer Gold.

Availability and Platforms

Genshin Impact is available on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. The upcoming KFC Japan event featuring Alhaitham and Kaveh is set to expand the crossover series further in Asia.
