Free agent cornerback L'Jarius Sneed is no longer facing any criminal charges in Texas, his attorney confirmed on Thursday.

Michael J. Todd, Sneed’s attorney, told ESPN that all charges against his client have been dropped. The development follows a legal process that began after an incident in December 2024.

Incident and Initial Charges

Sneed was initially charged with aggravated assault in connection with an incident at a car dealership. According to reports, Sneed’s assistant was accused of shooting at another man outside the dealership. The case later evolved when a grand jury indicted Sneed on a lesser charge of failure to report a felony.

Case Outcome and Pending Litigation

All criminal charges against Sneed have now been dropped, clearing him of legal responsibility in the matter. However, a civil lawsuit filed against Sneed related to the incident remains pending.

NFL Career Update

Sneed’s NFL career took a turn earlier this year when the Tennessee Titans released him in March. His tenure with the team was marked by injuries, limiting him to just 12 games over the past two seasons. In his final season with the Titans, Sneed recorded 26 tackles in seven appearances.
