‘KPop Demon Hunters’: A Record-Breaking Success
Since its debut in June 2025, ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ has become Netflix’s most popular film, amassing over 500 million views worldwide. The film has also earned critical acclaim, including two Academy Awards earlier this year:
- Best Animated Feature Film
- Best Original Song for “Golden” – the first K-pop song to win in this category
The film’s soundtrack was a global phenomenon, winning a Grammy and topping Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
Behind the Music: Rei Ami on ‘Golden’
“It took a lot of time, and thought, and blood, sweat and tears to really build these songs vocally.”
Rei Ami, the singing voice of Zoey in the film, shared these words with TheWrap last year. She added:
“It’s just so beautiful to watch them completely immerse themselves in the music.”
The global concert tour experience is set to capture the same energy and artistry that made the film and its music a worldwide sensation.
