What to Expect in 'Dutton Ranch'
"As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together—far from the ghosts of 'Yellowstone'—they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul."
Behind the Scenes: Creators and Directors
Dutton Ranch was created and executive produced by Chad Feehan, who previously oversaw Lawman: Bass Reeves for Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan. Sheridan also serves as an executive producer alongside John Linson. Additional executive producers include David C. Glasser, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, Reilly, Hauser, and Cox.
Christina Alexandra Voros directed multiple episodes this season, including the premiere and season finale. Other directors for the season include Greg Yaitanes, Jessica Lowrey, and Phil Abraham.
Yellowstone Universe Expands: What’s Next?
In addition to Dutton Ranch and Marshals, 2024 has seen the release of the first season of The Madison, initially planned as a Yellowstone spinoff but evolving into a standalone series. Like most of Sheridan’s productions, it has been a ratings success.
Looking ahead to 2025, the Yellowstone universe will continue to grow with the return of:
- Lioness
- Tulsa King (including the spinoff Frisco King, starring Samuel L. Jackson)
- Mayor of Kingstown (fifth and final season)
- Landman (noted as Paramount+’s biggest show)
- 6666 (another Yellowstone spinoff set at Sheridan’s Texas ranch)
The Yellowstone saga shows no signs of slowing down, with new projects continuously in development.
