Science Saru, Bandai Namco Filmworks, and Kodansha have officially confirmed the release date for the new Ghost in the Shell anime adaptation in the latest trailer. The series will premiere on July 7, 2026.
The streaming platform for the show remains unannounced, but the global debut of the first two episodes is scheduled for the June 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

It begins with Major Motoko Kusanagi, followed by other members of the Shell Squad.
While the trailer does not include official English subtitles, many of the text slides feature both Japanese and English translations. New key art has also been released:

Annecy International Animation Film Festival Premiere
The premiere event, titled "Dive into The Ghost in the Shell", will feature director Mokochan and producers Daichi Sasa, Kengo Abe, and Kohei Sakita as special guests. The exact date and time for the screening have not yet been announced on the official page or programming site.
