Prime Video has officially dropped the full trailer for its highly anticipated live-action series, Spider-Noir, at the CCXPMX26 event in Mexico City over the weekend. Echoing the release of the first teaser in February, the streaming giant has presented the trailer in two distinct formats: a black-and-white version—evoking the aesthetic of classic film noir—and a color version, which the showrunners have dubbed “True Hue.”

The series is set in 1930s New York and follows a reimagined Marvel character in a noir universe, a concept Marvel Comics introduced in 2009. This alternate universe typically frames stories during the Great Depression in the U.S.

Nicolas Cage lends his voice to the Spider-Noir character in the animated films Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and Across the Spider-Verse (2023). He is also set to reprise the role in the upcoming Beyond the Spider-Verse.

Co-showrunner Oren Uziel, alongside Steve Lightfoot, is a devoted fan of film noir, which heavily influenced the series’ tone and style. The live-action adaptation diverges from the traditional Peter Parker narrative, instead casting Cage as Ben Reilly, a hard-boiled private investigator with a secret superhero identity, The Spider.

According to the official premise, Spider-Noir follows Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned but struggling private investigator in 1930s New York. After a deeply personal tragedy, Reilly is forced to confront his past life as the city’s sole superhero.
