The veteran quarterback recently visited the New York Jets to discuss a potential role as a backup behind his former Seattle Seahawks teammate Geno Smith. Later in the week, reports emerged suggesting Wilson had also engaged in conversations with television networks about a broadcasting career.

Wilson addressed both possibilities during a Tuesday interview, confirming the Jets had extended an offer while acknowledging his deliberation over the best path forward. “It was great,” Wilson told the New York Post via reporter Ryan Dunleavy. “They offered me, and I’m trying to figure out what the next best thing is for me to do. I still know I can play ball at a high level, but also I have an opportunity to do TV, so we’ll see what happens.”
