The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Monday that they have signed tight end Jaheim Bell to a one-year contract. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bell’s NFL journey has included stops with multiple teams. The New England Patriots selected him in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Florida State. As a rookie, he appeared in 15 games for the Patriots, recording two receptions for 20 yards.

New England released Bell during the 2025 preseason. He then joined the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad in October before being waived a week later. Bell briefly spent time on the Steelers’ practice squad before signing a futures contract with the Eagles after the 2025 season.

Despite the transitions, Bell did appear in one game during the 2025 season. Now with Pittsburgh, he looks to contribute to the team’s tight end group.
