The Pittsburgh Steelers have finalized a four-year contract extension with kicker Chris Boswell, ensuring he remains with the team through the 2030 season. The agreement comes as the Steelers continue negotiations regarding quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the 2026 season.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Boswell's extension is valued at $28 million, with an average annual salary of $7 million. This figure aligns with the contract signed by kicker Brandon Aubrey with the Dallas Cowboys earlier in the offseason.
Boswell, now in his 12th season with the Steelers, has established himself as one of the NFL's most reliable kickers. He has made 299-of-341 field goals and 353-of-369 extra points during his tenure in Pittsburgh. His performance in 2024 earned him first-team All-Pro honors, with a 27-of-32 field goal conversion rate and a perfect 42-of-43 extra point record.
