The Houston Texans have added another key player to their roster. On Thursday, the team announced that Marlin Klein, their 2026 second-round draft selection, has officially signed his four-year rookie contract.

Selected at No. 59 overall in this year’s draft, Klein is a tight end who previously played college football at the University of Michigan. He was part of the 2023 Michigan Wolverines team that won the CFP National Championship.

During his 2025 collegiate season, Klein appeared in 11 games, recording 24 receptions for 248 yards and one touchdown. He concluded his college career with a total of 38 catches, 364 receiving yards, and one touchdown.

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, Klein’s rookie contract is valued at $8.184 million, which includes a $2.41 million signing bonus.
