How to Get Special Resin in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Special Resin is required during the A Little Algae Problem quest, which features Pocahontas. To obtain it, visit her home, called the Yehakin, located anywhere in the valley. Since you can place Pocahontas’s home anywhere after unlocking her during the Whispers of the Wind quest, its location varies by player.

To find her home on the map, look for the Mickey Mouse head icon surrounded by a purple circle. All player homes share the same icon, but only Pocahontas’s home has the purple outline. If you own DLC worlds like Wishblossom Ranch or Eternity Isle, check those areas too, as she may be placed outside the main valley.

Where to Find Special Resin in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once inside Pocahontas’s house, the Special Resin is located on the ground near the drum in the back right corner. Enter the home, walk past the glowing blue fire in the center of the room, then look to your right. The item blends into the surroundings but begins to sparkle after passing the fire, making it easier to spot in the dimly lit space.

This step is one of the trickier parts of the A Little Algae Problem quest. To complete the quest, you’ll also need to gather:
