ABC News’ ‘This Week With George Stephanopoulos’ has achieved a 15-week ratings winning streak, according to exclusive data from TheWrap and Nielsen live-plus-same-day figures.

The May 10 episode of the show drew 2.29 million total viewers, marking the 15th consecutive week it ranked above all other broadcast news competitors. This victory represents the program’s longest stretch at the top in more than three decades.

Season-to-date performance:

  • Average viewership: 2.78 million viewers
  • No. 1 ranking among Sunday morning broadcast news competitors for the fifth straight season
  • Outpaces NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ (2.59 million viewers) and CBS’ ‘Face the Nation’ (2.72 million viewers across two half-hour shows)

Season-over-season growth: The show’s total viewership increased by 1% compared to the same point last year, rising from 2.76 million to 2.78 million viewers.

With this growth, ‘This Week’ has expanded its lead over competitors:

  • Lead over ‘Meet the Press’ grew from 41,000 to 187,000 viewers—the largest gap in 30 years
  • Lead over ‘Face the Nation’ increased from 31,000 to 54,000 viewers

The program is anchored by George Stephanopoulos, with Martha Raddatz as chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl serving as chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor. Jon Schlosberg is the show’s executive producer.
