Amazon MGM Studios has appointed British casting director Nina Gold to lead the search for the next actor to play James Bond, according to a report by TheWrap.
A spokesperson for Amazon MGM Studios issued a statement confirming the casting process has begun: “The search for the next James Bond is underway. While we don’t plan to comment on specific details during the casting process, we’re excited to share more news with 007 fans as soon as the time is right.”
The studio also revealed that filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, known for directing Dune, is attached to direct the upcoming Bond film.
