For the first time, AMD is integrating its 3D V-Cache technology into commercial workstation processors with the refreshed Ryzen PRO 9000 series. Historically, AMD’s 3D V-Cache chips were designed primarily for gamers, but recent advancements have also improved their performance in creative tasks.

In a review of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, Tom Warren of The Verge described it as "the best CPU for both gaming and creator tasks," highlighting that it "greatly improves creator workloads" compared to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

AMD states that 3D V-Cache will enhance complex, data-intensive workloads, including simulation, rendering, and real-time visualization.
