Asus has introduced its latest gaming monitor, the ROG Strix XG129C, a compact yet powerful addition to its lineup. Announced on Friday, this 12.3-inch touchscreen IPS display is engineered to complement a larger primary monitor, much like the 14.1-inch secondary display featured in the 2020 Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15.
The XG129C stands as a competitor to Corsair’s Xeneon Edge, which boasts a 14.5-inch display, but both share the same 720p resolution. Asus emphasizes the monitor’s color accuracy, covering 125% of the sRGB color gamut and 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
In addition to its display capabilities, the XG129C includes a one-year subscription to AIDA64 Extreme, a hardware monitoring tool typically priced at $65. This feature enhances its value proposition for gamers and power users alike.
