The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Friday that they have claimed linebacker Swayze Bozeman off waivers from the New York Giants.

In a separate move, the Bengals also signed undrafted free agent safety Isaiah Nwokobia, a rookie from Southern Methodist University (SMU).

Swayze Bozeman’s NFL Journey

Bozeman, a second-year player, played college football at the University of Southern Mississippi. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024.

During his brief NFL career, Bozeman has appeared in nine career games, split between the Chiefs (2024) and Giants (2025). His contributions include:

  • Five defensive tackles
  • Four special teams stops

Isaiah Nwokobia’s Path to the Bengals

Nwokobia, a rookie safety from SMU, joins the Bengals as an undrafted free agent. His signing adds depth to the team’s secondary as the Bengals continue roster adjustments ahead of the 2025 season.
