The Cleveland Browns have made a roster move that ends Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah’s 2025 season before it even begins. On Friday, the team placed the linebacker on the reserve/physically unable to perform (PUP) list, a decision that removes him from the 90-man roster and prevents any activation this year.

This follows reports from February suggesting it was doubtful Owusu-Koramoah would ever play again. The Browns’ latest move confirms his absence for the entire season, marking the second consecutive year he will miss action due to injury.

Owusu-Koramoah suffered a neck injury in October 2024 and has not returned to the field since. His 2024 season was entirely wiped out after he spent the entire year on the PUP list in 2023 as well.

The 2021 second-round draft pick has played 49 career games, accumulating 308 tackles, eight sacks, three interceptions, and six forced fumbles. His absence will be felt on a defense already navigating roster challenges.
