Cadillac has introduced the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series, the most powerful Blackwing model ever created. This ultra-exclusive special edition celebrates Cadillac’s entry into the pinnacle of racing and was unveiled ahead of the Miami Grand Prix.

The vehicle is the result of a close collaboration with Formula 1 and the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). Its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine has been tuned to produce 685 hp (511 kW / 695 PS) and 673 lb-ft (911 Nm) of torque. This represents an increase of 17 hp (13 kW / 17 PS) and 14 lb-ft (19 Nm) over the regular CT5-V Blackwing model.

The power boost is attributed to an upgraded supercharger developed in collaboration with GM Motorsports. While Cadillac provided limited details, it noted the supercharger features a CNC-machined cover with an F1 logo.

The engine is paired exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. Each model comes equipped with the Precision Package, which includes:

  • Track-tuned suspension
  • Carbon ceramic brakes
  • Summer-only tires

The exterior of the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series features a Midnight Stone Frost paint finish, Carbon Flash Metallic wheels, and Harbor Gray Metallic brake calipers. Additional upgrades include a carbon fiber body kit with a Switchblade Silver pinstripe, black badging, and monochrome Cadillac crests. Subtle FIA and F1 accents are also present.

The interior highlights include black leather sport seats with silver stitching and piping, as well as embossed F1 logos on the headrests. Other notable features are:

  • A 3D-printed F1 shifter medallion
  • “Cadillac Formula 1 Team” sill plates
  • An FIA logo integrated into the carbon fiber center console
  • A 33-inch display

The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series will be available in Canada and the United States. Production is set to begin later this year, with only 26 units planned for production. The base price for the standard CT5-V Blackwing starts at $98,900, excluding a $2,100 gas guzzler tax and a $1,795 destination fee.
