The Potion brewing and crafting system in Wizard Alchemy is simpler than The Forge's system. The core mechanic relies on the Magic score of materials and the target Potion's Magic value. Here’s how it works:

How Potion Crafting Works

Every material in Wizard Alchemy has a Magic score (e.g., Blueberry = 3, Withered Mushroom = 4). Each Potion requires a specific Magic value to craft (e.g., Ice Spike Potion = 10). To brew a Potion, you must meet or exceed its Magic value using the sum of your selected materials. You have 5 slots in the Alchemy menu to combine materials.

Meeting a Potion’s Magic value grants a percentage chance to craft it. For example, the Ice Spike Potion requires a total Magic score of at least 10. You could achieve this with combinations like:

• Blueberry (3) + Blueberry (3) + Withered Mushroom (4) = 10
• Blueberry (3) + Withered Mushroom (4) + Withered Mushroom (4) = 11

Optimizing Your Magic Score for Higher Chances

The chance to craft a Potion increases if your total Magic score is between the Potion’s required value and one less than the next Potion’s requirement. For example:

• Ice Spike Potion requires 10 Magic. The next Potion requires 40. To maximize your chance for Ice Spike, aim for a total Magic score between 10 and 39.
• Overshooting the required Magic value (e.g., reaching 40) reduces your chance to craft the Ice Spike Potion, as you now qualify for higher-rarity Potions.

Higher total Magic scores increase the rarity of Potions you can craft, but the final outcome is random.

Elemental Shards and Special Materials
