The wait for The Lands Between to come to life on the big screen is almost over. Bandai Namco has officially confirmed that the live-action Elden Ring movie, first announced in 2023, is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 3, 2028.
Production is set to begin this spring, with the film based on FromSoftware’s award-winning open-world fantasy RPG released in 2022.
Behind the Scenes: Production and Creative Team
The movie is being produced by A24, the acclaimed studio behind films like Everything Everywhere All at Once and Hereditary. Alex Garland, known for writing the 28 Days zombie franchise and directing Annihilation and Civil War, will serve as both writer and director of the film.
