The Atlanta Falcons made a significant move in the 2024 NFL Draft by selecting Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell with the 48th overall pick. This selection reunites Avieon with his older brother, A.J. Terrell, who has been a key player in the Falcons' secondary for the past six seasons.
The Terrell brothers share a remarkable football journey. Both began their careers at Westlake High School in Atlanta, before continuing their football careers at Clemson University. Now, they will have the opportunity to play together in the NFL.
At the draft party, the brothers shared an emotional moment, hugging and celebrating their reunion. Avieon Terrell leaves Clemson with an impressive collegiate record, having started 31 consecutive games in his final two seasons. He also led the Tigers in passes defended during his sophomore and junior years, recording 28 pass breakups and three interceptions over three seasons.
