The New York Giants are banking on a resurgent offensive line in 2026, fueled by optimism surrounding head coach John Harbaugh and their recent draft haul. With two top-10 selections, the Giants added edge rusher Arvell Reese and offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa to the roster.
Mauigoa, who stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs 329 pounds, will begin his NFL career at right guard, lining up next to recently re-signed right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor. The Giants' projected starting five also includes left tackle Andrew Thomas, left guard Jon Runyan Jr., and center John Michael Schmitz.
Eluemunor is excited about the rookie's impact, believing the unit can rise to the top 10 in the league.

While Mauigoa played tackle at Miami, there are expectations he may transition back to that position once Eluemunor’s tenure ends. However, Eluemunor, who considers himself in the prime of his career, hopes to mentor Mauigoa for years to come. Regardless of how the future unfolds, the Giants are focused on reversing their long-standing struggles in the trenches.
