Forza Horizon 6 is set to launch worldwide on both PC and Xbox consoles. However, Xbox players have a unique opportunity to start playing early by leveraging a regional time trick tied to New Zealand’s release schedule.

How the New Zealand Time Trick Works

This method allows players to bypass regional launch restrictions by adjusting their console’s region settings. Here’s how to do it:

  • Premium Edition: Available starting May 14.
  • Standard Edition: Available starting May 18.
  • Game Pass Subscriptions: This trick does not work with Game Pass versions.

The trick applies only to standalone copies of the game.

Step-by-Step Guide to Change Your Xbox Region

  1. Open Console Settings: Navigate to your Xbox’s main settings menu.
  2. Change Region to New Zealand: Adjust your console’s region to New Zealand. Changing the language is optional but recommended for consistency.
  3. Restart Your Console: After applying the changes, restart your Xbox.
  4. Verify Time Zone: Once restarted, your console will reflect New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT). This allows you to access early gameplay if it’s past midnight in New Zealand, regardless of your actual location.

Note: This method does not bypass the limitations of the Standard Edition. Players must own the Premium Edition to unlock the full benefits of early access.

What’s Included in the Premium Edition?

The Premium Edition of Forza Horizon 6 offers significant advantages:

  • Up to 96 Extra Hours of Gameplay: Access the game before the official launch date.
  • VIP Membership: Enjoy exclusive in-game perks and rewards.
  • Car Pass: Unlock additional cars and customization options.
  • Two Extra Car Packs: Instantly add new vehicles to your garage.

For PC players or those without the Premium Edition, the only way to access early gameplay is by purchasing the Premium Edition.
