Ineos has introduced the Trailmaster X, a new luxury off-road variant of the Grenadier, designed to deliver unparalleled ruggedness without compromising on comfort and style.

The Trailmaster X is equipped with leather and heated seats, a 5.5-tonne front winch, and optional contrasting roofs in either Inky Black or Scottish White. Customers can also choose from a range of body colors, including Scottish White, Devil Red, Donny Grey, or Magic Mushroom.

Key Features of the Trailmaster X

  • Off-Road Capabilities: Front and rear locking differentials, 17-inch wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires, a snorkel, safari windows, privacy glass, and a lockable storage box integrated into the spare-wheel carrier.
  • Towing and Winching: A 5.5-tonne front winch and a tow ball as standard, along with optional petrol fuel filters and diesel water separators for markets with poor fuel quality.
  • Luxury Interior: Two-tone grey-and-black leather upholstery, heated front seats, a premium sound system, and carpeted floor mats.

Pricing and Availability

The Trailmaster X is available in both the Grenadier SUV and the Quartermaster pickup models. In the UK, prices start at £75,195 ($101,800) for the SUV and £75,010 ($101,500) for the Quartermaster pickup.

This positions the Trailmaster X roughly £12,000 above a base Defender 110, which starts at £62,915, while remaining £9,000 below the Defender 130, priced at £84,240.

"Three years on from launch, we continue to evolve the Grenadier line-up, broadening its appeal in response to customer feedback. Building on the significant enhancements introduced for 2026, Trialmaster X is the pinnacle all-rounder. The ultimate combination of off-road toughness, premium day-to-day comfort, and intrepid spirit."

Lynn Calder, Chief Executive of Ineos Automotive.

Ineos has not yet announced plans to launch the Trailmaster X in other markets outside the UK.
