Jeep Korea has launched a limited 20-unit Wrangler Rubicon Trail Hunt Edition, a special edition inspired by the Indiana Jones films. However, all 20 units are reserved exclusively for the South Korean market.
The special edition includes Mopar upgrades such as a roof rack, beadlock wheels, and a lift kit. Despite adding approximately ₩13.25M ($9,000) worth of gear, the price increase over the standard Rubicon is only ₩8.8M ($6,000).
Design and Features
Key visual changes include black side decals, beadlock alloy wheels, wider fenders, a hood deflector, and a stainless steel roof rack with a side ladder. The JPP high-performance wipers feature 12 laser-cut holes for precise washer fluid spray.
Buyers in South Korea can choose between two paint options: Bright White or Anvil, both paired with black decals.
Performance and Specifications
The Wrangler Rubicon Trail Hunt Edition rides on a 2-inch lift kit for a more rugged stance. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering 272 hp (203 kW / 276 PS) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and the Rock-Trac HD full-time four-wheel-drive system, unchanged from the standard Rubicon.
Pricing and Availability
The 20 units are priced at ₩95,700,000 ($64,900) in South Korea, an increase of ₩8,800,000 ($6,000) over the standard Rubicon. For those who missed out, Jeep Korea is offering the same Mopar parts separately at reduced prices. Alternatively, buyers can explore other special editions under Jeep’s ongoing “Twelve 4 Twelve” campaign.
