The View co-host Joy Behar found herself in an awkward situation on Tuesday morning after forgetting that Alyssa Farah Griffin had already given birth to her baby boy.

The moment unfolded during Brenda Song’s segment on the ABC talk show, where Song was promoting season 2 of her Netflix series Running Point. Behar, in an attempt to engage the conversation, pointed out that Song has two sons with her partner Macaulay Culkin and noted that “The View” table has a mother-to-be at it right now.”

Farah Griffin quickly corrected her, saying,

“No, I had the baby!”

The hosts and audience burst into laughter as Behar reacted in shock, covering her mouth before hanging her head in shame for a brief moment. Brenda Song, impressed by Farah Griffin’s appearance, chimed in with,

“I was like, ‘you look amazing!’”

Behar attempted to defend herself, arguing that she hadn’t yet met the baby at work. She said,

“You know what? Wait a second. I keep telling her to bring that baby in here. As far as I know, she hasn’t had it yet!”

Farah Griffin laughed and pushed back, clarifying that her son is nine weeks old and “a full-blown human being.”

The conversation then shifted to Song offering parenting tips for raising boys, bringing the segment back on track.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
