Chiefs Kick Off Rookie Minicamp with 20 Undrafted Free Agent Signings

The Kansas City Chiefs opened their three-day rookie minicamp on Friday and immediately bolstered their roster with 20 undrafted free agents.

The newly signed group includes a mix of standout collegiate performers from programs such as Cincinnati, Duke, Miami, and Texas. Among them is wide receiver Jeff Caldwell, who drew attention at the Scouting Combine for his impressive all-around testing metrics.

Last season at Cincinnati, Caldwell recorded:

  • 32 receptions
  • 478 receiving yards
  • 6 touchdowns
