Former NFL quarterback and Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez is facing criminal charges in Indianapolis stemming from an altercation with a 69-year-old truck driver in 2023.

The trial date has been delayed for the fourth time, moving from May 28 to July 13, according to WRTV. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for July 8.

Sanchez is charged with felony battery and multiple misdemeanors. If convicted on the felony battery charge alone, he faces up to six years in prison.

The truck driver involved, Perry Tole, has filed a civil lawsuit against Sanchez and others. During the altercation, Tole stabbed Sanchez multiple times. Authorities determined Tole acted in self-defense and did not press charges against him.
