The New Orleans Saints have added another undrafted rookie to their roster, welcoming defensive lineman Zxavian Harris on Thursday. Harris joins the team as the latest addition to the 90-man roster.
In addition to Harris, the Saints recently signed 10 other undrafted free agents. The team is set to hold its rookie minicamp this weekend.

Harris is not expected to participate in on-field activities during the minicamp. According to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football, he is still recovering from foot surgery performed in March. The recovery timeline likely contributed to his undrafted status despite being projected as a mid-round pick prior to the NFL Draft.

Harris concluded his four-year tenure at Ole Miss with notable statistics, including 58 tackles, nine tackles for loss, three sacks, and one interception. However, his college career was also marked by off-field issues, including a pair of arrests, which may have influenced teams’ decisions to pass on him during the draft.
